Ok, We Are Seriously Back

We're Back
To everyone who thought we were gone forever, we are sorry. To everyone who thought the same but still kept checking back periodically, we are both sorry and thankful. And to those who just forgot about us and are pleasantly surprised to stumble upon us as we celebrate our return, we simply say welcome back.
Over the past several months we here at Movie-Thoughts have been bogged down by computer hangups, licensing problems, software issues, and personal matters, but – finally – it appears that we can get back to giving you all the top notch movie commentary that you’ve been missing. Nothing in the near or moderately distant future can be seen that will cause us to stop posting.
Before we jump right back into things, though, we have a lot of catching up to do! We have saved a number of reviews and articles that we weren’t able to post during our long hiatus, so we are going to get to those first. Obviously they wont be very timely, but we believe you will still find them interesting – if only in hindsight.
Before long we will be back at providing new content that will get everyone back into the swing of things. We can’t wait to hear what everyone has to say about the upcoming slate of summer blockbusters. Are you groaning? Cautiously optimistic? Itching with excitement? Tell us!
If nothing else, it looks as though this will be a great summer to talk about a lot of different kinds of movies. Diversity is fun, of course, but it also allows us to exercise the old gray matter, which is what we love to do here.
We wish everyone a terrific summer at the movies, packed full of great times and great discussions. We’ll be here every step of the way, so be sure to stop by!

Hollywood Remembers Dennis Hopper
For those interested in reading remembrance articles about Dennis Hopper, who passed away Saturday at age 74 in his home after years of fighting prostate cancer, The Hollywood Reporter has published a particularly good one.
Hopper was iconic in Hollywood for playing the rebel, wacko, or diabolical villain. His cult status is legendary because of it, and despite any optimism we might have it’s hard to believe there will be another like him. The movie world will miss him.
During his career Hopper earned two Oscar nominations – one for Best Supporting Actor in Hoosiers, and the other for Best Original Screenplay for Easy Rider.
